This is especially important during prolonged exercise - the body burns all the available glycogen in the muscles and can exhaust the energy reserves. Extra intake of carbohydrates can supplement the reserves and provide your muscles with immediately usable glycogen.
WCUP Sport Drink is made up of a combination of maltodextrin, fructose, dextrose and sucrose to maximize the absorption of carbohydrates. The sodium content helps the body remain hydrated better. Because of it's pH neutral structure, WCUP Sports Drink is light and easy on the stomach.

The intensity of the effort determines the required amount of carbohydrates:
- Quiet training: 20g - 30g carbohydrates / hour
- Moderately intensive training: 30g - 50g carbohydrates / hour
- Intensive training: 50g - 70g carbohydrates / hour
An excess of 70 g carbohydrates / hour results in stomach distress.
